Electricity

Electricity is good. Electricity is scary. We found that out this week. We had some electrical problems that resulted in us not being able to have the TV and any other appliance on at the same time. Scary! Have you ever noticed that putting on makeup is much easier when the lights are on? Let's not mention trying to shave your legs with the lights flickering up and down. I might as well have been using a strobe light! I'm sure the neighbors thought we were shooting a sequel to Close Encounters when the looked our way. The washer caused the lights to flicker with every swish of the agitator. The air conditioner caused the lights to go down to almost dark for up to 10 seconds before popping back up to half power. Meanwhile, any other appliance that you happen to be using would shut off immediately. We now have full power and are our wallets our only slightly lighter. So, we should be able to cook the Thanksgiving Turkey in the oven instead of in the fireplace. Yeah, Electricity and the brave souls that call themselves electricians! They are worth every penny!

Who'd you use? We need one, too, for similar problems. Can't plug Christmas lights without the freezer going out. Very bad.
