I guess there is no easy way to break the ice on this one. Jesse's Dad passed away Thursday. It was unexpected, yet expected too. As everyone knows, he had been sick for a long time. We just called in Hospice care last week, as per our doctor's suggestion. But, we still did not know how soon or quickly he would decline.
Jesse and his Mom are handling it all as well as can be. I think they are both somewhat relieved that he doesn't have to suffer and be unhappy anymore. They have watched his steady decline for so long. Plus, they have grieved with him every step of the way. I know that it will hit them both when things calm down, but I am praying that God will continue to ease their pain.

tammie and jesse,
I am so sad to hear of your loss. I cannot imagine all the emotions you are feeling right now. And I am even more sorry that we missed the funeral. We had no idea this all happened, and really wished we could have been there with you to stand with you.
Love,
micah and tania
