Well -
Jack and Jill (Aka Jesse and Tammie) went up the hill
To visit Mrs. Ruby
Jack had to go
with 3 dogs in tow
The dogs were clowns
and Jack fell down
He broke his tibia
NO! It was his fibula
And Now he wears a boot
On his aching, right foot!
And He'll find out about surgery later!
What a long night for Jack and Jill, who really only wanted to go grocery shopping and then to a movie and just simply enjoy a nice Saturday out with each other! (Sorry about the long run on sentence, but sometimes feelings can only be expressed as one loooong run on sentence.)
What is it about hospitals that make you want to leave the minute you get there? AND what is it with people walking in that look like they have nothing wrong with them? I swear it looked more like a doctors office than a hospital emergency room. We, and a little girl with a broken arm, had to wait with people that looked like they had a cold or an upset stomach. Unfortunately, since we didn't have blood gushing out of either one of us, we had to wait behind some of those people in order to get in. Poor Jess waited 4 hours before he got any pain meds or was given a room in emergency. We had to wait with all those other people. That is ridiculous to me. Maybe I am crazy or stupid, but it has always seemed to me, that unless someone was deathly ill, was bleeding profusely, or had a broken bone, you didn't go to the emergency room. To me, if you can sit in the waiting room laughing and joking around while you drink a soda and eat a snack, you DON'T need to be in the emergency room. -----Breathe in. ---- Breathe out.---- Stepping off of my soapbox now.

Amen, sista! And if you went to the hospital up here, that is exactly what we have experienced and heard others say the same. That is partly why I didn't want to deliver a baby there! I was afraid they'd make me get in line! Ha.
I HEAR you! We went to the ER with a bloody toddler and it got us nowhere. Everyone in front of us was "sick". 3 hours later...
